The oldest known owner of this Hebmüller was Dieter Schmidt from Obermoschel in Germany. He was a Volkswagen dealer, and owned several vintage Volkswagen. He restored this car in the eighties, with parts which were available at this time. Dieter Schmidt had also a second type 14a in his collection. He sold it to a man, who directly sold it to Austria. One of the next owners of Heb 14-00100 Andreas Fink brought back its originality. (PS)
