Bought in 2006 by a German collector. The car came as a package. Empty body, floorpan, front beam, engine case, gearbox case, wheels, and all the parts + extra to build a Heb. One set of parts is complete restored by previous owner. The minus point was that the documents were not found by the seller. After a couple of years, the previous owner found the KFZ book from this heb and handed over to the current owner. With the help of the Heb hunters and the museum archive, the body number was found. The body itself is half old style, half new style in construction. This is seen also on the Heb number 66, also made in the difficult month of August 49 when the factory was in ashes and rebuilt. It is possible that the cars stayed longer as normal in the factory and are updated with the newer model. As it started as 25 of august, the car was only first registered 27th of Oktober 1949. Maybe it was rebodied after the fire due to damage. Heb 56 is July 21, just before the fire. This one is after a month on August 25. In between, there are only 6 Hebs. (PS)
