This Heb was long time in Austria. How it ended up there, we do not know. The owner sold it at one point to a Vienna doctor. He restored it in 98-99. The car was long time in his hands until at one point in Bad Camberg meeting in 2007, Klaus Hebmüller questioned both Peter and Claus to find him a type 14a. Within 5 minutes we found out there was one for sale in Austria, but not knowing wich one. As we run the registry, we could identify the Heb, and phoned the owner but without luck. Peter went away from the group and run to the other side of the field to ask a friend to phone another friend to get a cellphone number from the owner. No luck. So Peter went back to the group and run in to Gerhard Richter, also a heb owner. Peter greeted Gerhard and the man next to Gerhard. Peter recognised the man who was introduced to him as the man from Vienna… , Yes, the doctor! Peter asked him directly if his Heb was for sale and with a yes as answer, he was asked to walk towards the Hebmuller family and Claus. Within 10 minutes the deal was done between the doctor and Klaus Hebmuller. Who can say they put a Hebmüller in a Hebmüller! (PS)
