Type 14A

This Hebmüller stood 35 years with open roof unprotected in Unterkirnach south Germany under a carport. The owner had the plan to restore the car someday. Directly beside the carport was a hiking trail where people passes by every day. Nobody noticed this rare Hebmüller. In 2013 the owners neighbour organized a sale of the Hebmüller. A guy from Germany bought it for 10.000 Euro on the phone. The deal was fixed only until the next day. At 5 am in the morning, the Heb owner started an angle grinder and cut the front and the frond decklid, and put the car in a corner of his carport under a tarpaulin. In 2017 this car was sold to Roland Seliger who gave the car to a car dealer, who sold it for an unbelievable price on the Bremen Classic Show in February 2017. The new owner, a car collector from the Netherlands kept it for nearly three years. In 2020 he sold it after getting a better Hebmüller. The car stayed till 2025 in the Netherlands by Martin Hobe, who put the body on a modern VW chassis. In 2025 the Heb went over the pond to his new owner in the USA. In April 2026 the car arrived finally by the current owner Cooker´s Restoration, who has the time and the courage to restore 14-00367. They will take care of this raw car and make sure it will shine like new after the resto. (CM/ PS)
