After an accident the chassis was damaged, and changed 20th December 1963. The front metal parts with the stamped body number were replaced. With the help from Volkswagen, Steve Dressler, Peter Schepens and the support of the Hebmüller family nearly all numbers were found. The body number is 14-00344 and the chassis was 1-0132694. Only the Aufbaunumber is still missing. The car leaves the factory in black/ coral red. (CM)
The Heb was found in Germany with a pale yellow paint on it. It was last used in 1970.By changing the chassis after the accident, the official instances restamped the original chassisnumber in the newer frame. When the resto was half way, the Heb was shown to the public on a meeting in the States where 8 Hebs attended. It was the Classic Vw show. At that pont, the body was in bare metal. The car is equiped with an Okrasa engine, an Austrich leathe interion in cognac color. THe paint on this one, is also different as most of the Hebs. A light Blue body color with ivory sides and light brown top. (PS)
